Back to our Badminton Hotshots!

It's been a bit quiet recently due to the fact that our roving reporter has been on sick leave recently!! We are back on track now with more "candid camera" & "badminton magic moments!" So here we go again!!



The Saturday mob is back in focus! Some daring greenhearters stepping into the Saturday limelite again. Some less regular faces show up!! Fan partners Tony, while Michael partners B. William! Looks like an interesting game! Both Fan & Michael are in for some curry!














Here we go again!! B. William up to his best!! "Shall we dance?" might be what he's saying to Michael! Or maybe "Common !! Don't be a chicken! Get in the court!". Or is it "You just squat in front! I'll do the rest!!". Whatever it is...it's always very interesting with him!














These two champs, Gene & Michael, have been quietly pairing together over the past few weeks against the best from Saturdays! Wonder why? Could it be the coming Commonwealth Games? Maybe there's a chance to represent Australia if some of the current Aussie team members fail to measure up! These two are good! Hey Aussie selectors!! Don't forget them!














Another of my favorite pairs, Richard & Anthony! (I don't mean Richard Burton & Mark Anthony! The was Cleopetra the movie!). Two dour types who don't know what "giving up" means! Be sure of a tough & tense game if you're up against them! If you don't believe me, just try them out!!














Ah!! Lawrence my friend!! He is on his way to court 3 for a great battle! He wears more padding than Russell Crowe in "The Gladiator". He's got his left arm, right arm(but he's a left hander isn't he? Anyway!), left calf, right calf!! Elbows! No matter what! He's good! Don't be mislead! Coleman & I were at first & we paid the price! Nearly had duck eggs for dinner! Lawrence is a real great guy, great character.!














There he is! Lawrence partnering Joe Cool!! What a great pair! Veterans' teams would be licking their lips if they could just get their hands on these 2 for their teams!!














Here we have David & Tony(Goliath) receiving serve from Albert & Costello! Oops ! Sorry I mean B. William! Did you know that Albert's one of William's favorite partners? Wonder why? Maybe they look alike!














Didn't I tell you? There thay are again!! Michael & Gene!














Michael's decided to pair up with Joe Cool for a "sure win" game.! Seldom lose with Joe Cool on your side! Must ask Michael how it went!














Mystery solved! There's Albert sitting next to the a distinguished looking guy named John! Heard a rumour that John's an IBF(International Badminton Federation)official, an Aussie team selector! Wonder if it's true? That's why Gene & Michael are gearing themselves up! Makes sense! Maybe I'm wrong again! I'm so konfused!!
